Lake Houston Parkway) Dawn to Dusk every Saturday and Sunday Separate bins are available tor cardboard, paper, colored glass, clear glass, metal cans, and all plastics. All items should be LOOSE except all plastic must be in a plastic trash bag. Accepted items: Ad Inserts Aerosol Cans Aluminum Cans Cardboard Catalogs Glass Bottles and Jars Magazines Newspapers Plastics Steel Cans Telephone Books Tin Cans Items NOT Accepted: Coat Hangers Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Chemicals Junk Waste/Tree Waste Oil Based Paint Pizza Boxes Trash/Garbage Junk Waste, Tree Waste, or Garbage are not accepted at this facility. (Batteries, Oil, Paint, Antifreeze) The City of Houston holds B.O.P.A. mobile collections periodically at the Kingwood Park & Ride. Accepted Items: Only residential material, rechargeable household and automobile batteries(Lead Acid Automotive, NiCad, Lithium Ion and Rechargeable batteries accepted (No alkaline)), cooking oil (limit 15 gallons), motor oil (limit 15 gallons), LATEX paint, antifreeze, large appliances, and scrap metal. All liquids are required to be in sealed non-leaking containers labeled as to contents.
